Gisler Elementary PAL Program Surprised with Prestigious Orange County Recognition

Gisler Elementary was officially awarded the OCDE PAL Program Recognition for their outstanding student leadership and service. This is a massive achievement: out of roughly 100 school programs across Orange County, Gisler was one of just six schools selected for the honor this year.

The program’s dedicated co-advisors, Mrs. Bailey Moses and Mrs. Alison O’Dell, were bursting with pride as their students were brought up to be celebrated in front of their peers. The PAL program plays a vital role on campus, encouraging students to build a supportive school environment through mentoring, leadership, and community service.

To mark the special occasion, the OCDE representative presented the school with an official banner that will proudly hang on campus. Additionally, each PAL student was awarded an individual certificate of achievement signed by County Superintendent Dr. Stefan Bean.

Congratulations to Mrs. Moses, Mrs. O’Dell, and all of our incredible Gisler PAL students. Thank you for showing what it means to lead with heart and representing the Fountain Valley School District so beautifully at the county level!
