Welcome
Hello Fulton Falcons! My teaching career began in 2001 after graduating from the University of Colorado, Boulder where I majored in English and Psychology. I obtained my credential and Master’s Degree from Concordia University, Irvine. My husband and I recently spent three years living in the Great White North (Canada). It was an amazing adventure, and we now have even more appreciation for sunny, Southern California.
Outside of school, I enjoy spending time with friends and family. I especially enjoy spending the weekends at Huntington Dog Beach with Maple, our German Shepherd/Beagle mix; she loves to play frisbee. I also usually have several books on my nightstand (mostly Young Adult and Historical Fiction).
I have spent most of my career teaching high school English, but actually began at the middle school level. I am ecstatic to return to the middle school classroom!
